Experimental study and simulation of distributed photovoltaic heating asphalt system

Abstract The traditional asphalt heating methods need to consume many fossil fuels, which conflicts with carbon peaking goals and neutrality. Therefore, replacing fuels improving efficiency is a realistic severe task. This paper proposes distributed photovoltaic system based on literature review field investigation of current mixing plants. rationally uses idle workshop roofs lay solar modules for power supply. It replaces the natural gas boiler, heat conduction oil furnace, tank an integrated electric tank. generation capacity process were tested simulated, transfer characteristics during obtained. results show that daily generating 39.6kW 135.8kWh, can meet demand 3 tons asphalt. average rate increases 19°C/h compared rate. And no pollutants are produced whole process. Overall, achieve remarkable improvement, energy conservation, environmental protection.
